Re: Last fight of Eduard Tratt on 22.02.44. Need additional info.
Eugen,
In your posting you mention that Ofw. Franz Meissl was an Experte with 11 Abschüsse. I have found only 2 possible claims for him in Tony Wood's lists, a Spitfire on 17.04.43 with 9./ZG 26 and another Spitfire on 8.10.43 with 6./ZG 1. Do you have information on his other claims or any further biographical details? Thanks, Tom |

Re: Last fight of Eduard Tratt on 22.02.44. Need additional info.
Hi all!
So, finally, some questions: -are there any claims of USAAF over Me410 on that day? -wich regiment may be that "3 B-17", claimed in row by II./ZG 26 pilots? If victor of Tratt was not fighter pilot, it must be gunner of B-17... Any ideas?

Re: Last fight of Eduard Tratt on 22.02.44. Need additional info.
Hi Guys,
perhaps the wrong place for my post. I could not find any two engine fighter in the area of Paderborn. Only the crash of B-17G, 1 KIA the other crew members were POW, 1 badly wounded. The B-17 was shot down by Me 110 - I believe Rudi Dassow's claim. R. Jarret was KIA and burried at the cementry of the saml town Fürstenberg 10 miles south of Paderborn. Sorry for my bad english, Fitti |
