My information from Peter is as follows: 4./ZG76 Messerschmitt Bf110C. Crash-landed at Sovet emergency landing ground, west of Ciney, badly damaged in attacks by Adj Angibault of GC II/10 and Sgt Singeot of GC III/10 over Ham, south-east of Albert, 11.50 a.m.Crew unhurt. Aircraft M8+DM 100% write-off. 4./ZG76 Messerschmitt Bf110C. Forced-landed at Philippeville damaged in combat with Bloch 152s during escort sortie for He111s south-east of Albert 11.50 a.m. Possibly that attacked by Sgt Carbon of GC III/10 over Roye. FF Oberfw Georg Anthony and BF Uffz Heinrich Nordmeier both unhurt. Aircraft 15% damaged but repairable. No mention of W. Nr..

However since John Vasco has never heard about this particular WNr update, and we have to admit he keeps his nose into everything even resembling a 110 , I wonder in particular from where this WNr originate. New found French document? Flugbuch perhaps? Cheers Stig |

Hi Robert, is this Jentsch's flugbuch? If so does he record himself as pilot
or Bordfunker which he's reported to be when captured with Marchfelder on 16.8.40. Best regs, Steve. |
