Never heard of that contraption before
Can't say I ever had much interest in the subject. Bust, just as the British joke says:
"I have tried it twice....the first....and the last time!"
But that was some 50 years ago.

Anyway, to make a bet, it surely must have been the best catch the Germans ever made....
