Size of SEAC RAF transport, float plane, and general recon sqds?
Gentlemen,
In my understanding, at the outbreak of the Pacific war, the TOE of the following RAF sqds were thus: GR: 12+4 or 6 aircraft Float plane: 6+2 aircraft Transport: 12 or 16? aircraft At some point I believe this changed to: GR: 16+0 aircraft Float plane: 9+0 aircraft Transport: 20+5 or 25 aircraft Does anyone know if this is correct, and if so, when this change to place? Much appreciated, Tom |
