He 177 Info Request
Gentlemen,
some time ago I asked the same question in the LEMB board, but unfortunately no one could help, so here it is again: Is there any further info about the Heinkel He 177 from the attached photos? Location? Unit? Complete code? Any help is appreciated. The location where this He 177 was found COULD be the same as the one where there more known Bf 110 F2+YN was captured (photos e.g. in Wings of the Black Cross 4, p.32). This is a conclusion drawn from other photos with the same GIs visible in front of F2+YN. Maybe this helps?
