Hi,

on 10.9.39 a Swordfish I of 822 FAA Sqn had been lost with crew of three. I wonder if somebody would have a serial number of this plane?

822 (FAA) Squadron, HMS Courageous

Swordfish I P4090. Crashed in the Atlantic while landing aboard following anti-submarine patrol. S/Lt H.A. Wheatman, Lt W.A.H. Playfair, and Cpl F. Frizzell all missing. Aircraft 100% write-off.
