Information on loss of Nachjagr over England - 06.10.1944

Hi,

Not my usual sterbebild this time but a nice portrait of a luftwaffe man who was killed over England on a night mission on the 6th October 1944?

There is a name and he seems to have plenty of experience viewing his awards.

Can anyone provide information on him and the rest of his crew?

Thanks

Rick

Hello!
His operational flying clasp shows him to be a member of a reconnaisance/Sea Rescue or meteorological unit, as far as i can see.
Greetings

Christian
