Ala Littorio aircraft in military service

Hi guys

Can anyone tell me in what 'colours' these civil aircraft flew while in military service? A number of Italian 'civil' aircraft were shot down in the Mediterranean during the first two years of the war, but would it have been obvious to intercepting RAF aircraft that they were civilian aircraft?
