S/Ldr John Bidlake O'Brien 62333
Gents,
Any information on the above officer welcome. He was S/Ldr "A" Flight Commander on No.218 (Gold Coast) Squadron from November 1944 to March 1945 when he dropped a rank to be posted to No.622 Squadron. Interested in his RAF career pre 218 Squadron, also wondering why on posting he relinquished his S/Ldr rank, was this common. ? Regards Steve

Hi Steve,
Try speaking to Howard Sandell, on the Mildenhall Register site. His book on 622 Sqn comes out this month ![]() Alan F |
