Order of battle Luftflotte 1 (Oct.-Nov.1944)
Hello Friends!
I try to find order of battle and strength of Luftflotte 1 for some dates between 27.Sep.1944 and 24.Nov.1944. "Das Deutsche Reich und der Zweite Weltkrieg" Bd.8 gives battle-ready a/c for 3.Oct and 15.Oct.44 but nothing about OOB. Reconstruction with help of other sources don't give a full picture. Whether this data remained in BA/MA? Best regards, Andrey

Dear Yogybär,
thank you once again. You pointed some units what I forgot due to their early relocation from the area in question - 10.(Pz)/SG3, II./SG4, also disbanded units - NSGr11, NSGr12. About I./JG51: What exact date of it's relocation from East Prussia to Libau? I./SG3 seems Luftflotte 6's unit, not Luftflotte 1. Quote:
Also 3.(F)/Nacht operated in the Riga Gulf and nearest areas. What is about that unit (a/c used, strength, bases)? Also part of BFGr196 was in Libau in Nov.44 Kind regards, Andrey

Yes, some parts of SG3 were in Pardubitz, which afaik is somewhere in the former CSSR. Nevertheless they were subordinated to Fliegerdivision 3 afaik. If you need further infos on times of re-basements etc., please contact me via e-Mail.
