Max-Hellmuth Ostermann's grave
Does anybody know if Max-Hellmuth Ostermann’s remains were buried by the Russians after he was killed in the vicinity of Lake Ilmen (9 August 1942). Is there a grave of honour somewhere in Germany (Hamburg ?) ?

Hi,
On 05.08.12 SPIEGEL ONLINE posted an article entitled, "Germany still locates 40.000 war casualties a year". perhaps Ostermann may turn out to be one of them.
