Luftwaffe base near LG 97.
Hi Guys.
I am trying to find the nearest Luftwaffe bases that operated Bf 109's near the Allied base LG 97.This would have been July 1942, or just before the Allies occupied LG 97. I found no name for LG 97, only co-ords on Wikipedia. I have a map that shows it was near LG 98 and 99, also the nearest name Alam Sharut.. It was along the main road from Cairo West to Alexandra. Any help?? Thx Stefaan
