RAF losses 23 September - Raid against Flesburg
Hello,
On 23 September 1942 a force of 28 Halifax bombers attacked Flensburg. 5 of the attackers where reported lost. Is the unit, the crews and other info known on these losses? Cordial greetings and thanks in advance Stijn

All details may be found in Chorley`s BCL vol. II: The missing Halifaxes belonged to: 76 Sqn, 78 Sqn, 102 Sqn (2 a/c) and 405 Sqn. If you don`t have access to this book, let me know and I`ll be able to send you more info. Regards, Greg
