Loss of B-17F 42-3212 379th BG 30 July 1943

Howdy - the referenced a/c crashed at Parham nr Framlingham UK returning from a mission to Kassel. Interesting is that is a MACR 1364 even though it crashed in the UK. Having suffered battle damage it apparently was trying to land at Framlingham when it crashed and burned killing the entire crew.

What I'm looking for is any additional info concerning the details of the crash and perhaps photos of the a/c or the crew. Thanks for any help. Bob
