Luftwaffe Parachute

I have a Luftwaffe backpack chute ( less canopy, log, and manufacturer's patch ). The shoulder straps crossover on the chest and each joins the leg straps in seperate release boxes . The ripcord is operated by a large part luminous bakerlite handle/knob rather than a 'D' ring. I have only seen pictures of this type of parachute worn by He 177 crews does anyone know if this pattern was on a more general issue ? Any help on this appreciated,
Regards
