Montpellier airport/Kampfgeschwader 26 and 77

Somebody have informations about Montpellier airport. I know that these units were in this airport:

• Kampfgeschwader 77

Stab : From Bourges in november 1942 to settle in Montpellier, sets out again Gross-Schiemanen le 27 may 1943.

· Kampfgeschwader 26 "Löwen"
Stab : From Lübeck-Blankensee in june 1944 to settle in Montpellier, sets out again in Valence in August 1944.

Who orders, directs the airport? French or German?

On 11 November 1942 the Wermacht crossed the "demarcation line" between occupied France and Vichy France and occupied in 2 days most of Southern France.

Before this date no German air units were based in Southern France (some aircraft carrying armistice commissions used French airports). After this date German managed the airfields and used them to attack Allied ships and ports in North Africa.
