Re: Kurt Welters FW 190 during wilde sau night
I have photos of his Fw 190A-6 while in JG 301 as well as his 109G-6/AS while in 10.(N)/JG 300 Moskito-jagd
and sorry to say he never flew twin seater 262's so the numbers game will have to be for his single seat job am I being vague you say ............ yes you will all have to wait ............

Re: Kurt Welters FW 190 during wilde sau night
Hi Ronny!
Yes, you are talking of a magic subject for plastimodelists...I do have one picture for you with only the werknummer. Check this site http://www.luftwaffe39-45.historia.n...ses/welter.htm But, like you and so many others I never saw the entire aircraft. Only his single Me 262 A-1 with SN-2...So, we will have to wait that the book the author is going to finish becomes available....Unfortunately..( Sun Tzu would tell: information is power...) Cheers for you and let´s wait the book! Adriano |

Re: Kurt Welters FW 190 during wilde sau night
Perhaps when the planets have aligned properly, you will see a book, co-written by friend Erich Brown, It WILL be woth the wait.....remember the wait has been so far 62 years since Wars end for a book loaded with info on Welters unit, so what is a short wait like a Year or a little longer? for the authors to polish up and release their offering?
Patience....Friends. Kevin
