Re: Birth/Death details of non Ritterkreuz 50+ aces
Hi Johannes,
you mentioned that you would be willing to share the biographies that you compiled for the listed pilots. Could you maybe share your files through https://www.mediafire.com/ or dropbox? If you do not want to put them out as an open link, I would also be interested in sharing data through email! Maybe you want to send me a PM through this forum? (I am new here and have not really figured out how to do this yet.) Thank you very much! LpunktLpunkt |

Hi Johannes,
are you still willing to share your detailed biographies of those pilots? I would be interested in getting as many of them as possible for a research project. - LL |

Re: Birth/Death details of non Ritterkreuz 50+ aces
Gentlemen,
I see that Alfred Lehner is on one of the lists. I wonder if he scored any victories while flying the Me-262? Any four-engined bombers to his credit? I know that Lehner's final score is uncertain. Sincerely, Edward L. Hsiao |

Re: Birth/Death details of non Ritterkreuz 50+ aces
Gentlemen,
This is still being an interesting topic to study. A lot of German aces on the list were KIA or MIA. I was wondering about Ferdinand Vogl 33 victories score. Were they all claimed while fighting over Africa? What kind of postwar career did Vogl had? Edward L. Hsiao |

![]() According in Traces of War Website Wilhelm Hauswirth was a POW of the Soviets and had survived his imprisonment and of WWII. He returned home to Germany. Don't know when he passed away.
Edward L. Hsiao PS, I wonder if Hauswirth was ever recommended for the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross? |
