Identification of a VA squadron
Hello,
I'm looking for the identification of a VA unit belonged to the CVG-9 at the end of the fifties. The Skyraider AD-5 132396 has the letters NG painted on the tail with a number '500' as modex. Any idea? Thanks Phil |

Re: Identification of a VA squadron
Phil,
Depending on a more exact year, you may find the answer here: http://www.gonavy.jp/CVG-CVG9-2f.html It appears that VA-95 "Skyknights" had the NG-500 modex most of the time. Regards, Leendert |
