The Kracker Archive states that it was a pilot from 145 Sqn that was responsible although it does not list the source for that information.

From the above mentioned book these are the two 145 Sqn claims:

Plt Off H.J. Phillips
Spitfire Vb EP618 'P'

Flt Lt J.S. Taylor
Spitfire Vb EP327 'R'
