Dieter Weinitschke

Hi guys

I believe Weinitschke published his memoirs.

Does anyone know title or publisher - or perhaps even has a copy?

Cheers
Brian

Re: Dieter Weinitschke

Hi Brian,

Dieter has been a close friend of mine whe I never mentioned to have written his memories. In fact, he was able to talk a lot about his war experience.

Have you found any evidence of anything published by him?

Cheers

Erik

Re: Dieter Weinitschke

Hi Erik

Somewhere I thought that I had seen mention of his memoirs, hence my enquiry. Obviously incorrect.

As you are undoubtedly aware, his account of his trek and rescue does appear in Werner Gerbig's JG5.

Cheers
Brian
