#3 is Lysander L4773 of 26 Sqn, lost on 20 May 1940. The crew was captured.

Yep, that looks correct. Full code was LS-S I believe.

Hi Andy,
I have the individual letter for L8852 as 'S', based on a photo on page 48 of 'BATAILLES AERIENNES' No. 71. There are a lot of photos of the crashed L8852, but none of the ones I have seen show the individual letter. Regards, Martin Gleeson. |
