Hi Paul,

That Fairey Battle is P2193 'PM-G' of 103 Squadron, lost on 12 May 1940. Oddly it happens to be one of the most photographed Battle wrecks ! Probably because there is a road running beside that field and every second German soldier in 1940 seemed to have a camera.

yes, looks like this plane - some info and photos are there:

The tail of plane is in different position - probably german troop overturned the plane, when recovered the crew.
