Geoff's 1939-1947 Search Engine - closed due to Brexit?

When opening this handy tool I read "This page closed due to Brexit"...

The WW1 part still running.

Regards,

Leendert

No idea. Try the "Contact Us" link at the foot of the screen. John and I don't look after the technical side of the site.

The updates over the last few years to the CWGC site (probably at vast cost and time) meant that the simple tweaks Geoff made for better searching of the CWGC database are no longer necessary.
As time went on, with no updates being made it was gradually losing its usefulness.

Typical example of Britain - one bright chap runs rings about an organisation too proud to accept and absorb his work, but would rather spend more on reinventing the wheel.
