Re: Captured German planes in Gartz 27.May.1945

Hello everyone,
I know little about the movement of Soviet forces late in WWII. However, I do know that they occupied most of Austria; only relinquishing ownership to the British in June-July, 1945. I believe that one of the airfields turned over to the British was Graz-Thalerhof, Austria (coordinates 46.988333 15.437500). Is this a possible answer to our question?
Respectfully,
Steve Sheflin
