Fw Konrad CARL, 9./JG26

Hello,
Do you know where I could find a photo of this pilot?
WIA 30 September, 1940 in aerial combat with Spitfires over Beachy Head, S of London. Carl was injured when he wrecked his E-4 while force landing at Caffiers

Re: Fw Konrad CARL, 9./JG26

I can find no further career details on this pilot so perhaps he never returned to operational flying? Maybe his record of service might help?

Re: Fw Konrad CARL, 9./JG26

thank you. In his memories Josef Bigge speaks of an Ofw Carl who arrives at JG2 at the end of 1941 in Brest at Stab. I think it may be the same. Fred

Kracker says a Fw Carl was the Rottenflieger to Lt Fritz Edelmann in 3./JG 2?

Re: Fw Konrad CARL, 9./JG26

Thank you Gilles.
In fact I am trying to identify this warrant officer who is by Erich Leie's side during the spring of 1942. I told myself that if we knew a photo of this Fw.Carl from JG26, that would make it possible to eliminate, or not, my hypotheses.
