Missing Dakota 10/08/49

Hi,

I'm trying to track down a Dakota, possibly RAF, that crashed on 10th August 1949. It came down in Aden near Salalah. Tried my usual crash/accident websites but not been able to find any details.

Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Alex

Re: Missing Dakota 10/08/49

Hi Alex, Col,

Thank you. 8 Squadron Brigands were sent to search for it on the 10th so the 9th would tie in with that.

Didn't there were so many casualties.

Alex
