For everyone who has viewed this “article”, there is some “cosmetic changes” that Robinoc hasn’t gotten to make yet. The biggest is for the 23 January 1942. If you have noticed the claim for Werner Nelte of 1./JG 54. The claim should come after the time for 14:40 (MT). It should be “From the German side in the records of I./JG 54 appears an answer for this battle.Feldwebel Werner Nelte of 1./JG 54 claimed an I-18 (3) at 13:31 with no location.” If you noticed instead of a ( it has a 9 in front of the 3. Sorry for the headache in the reading. The one listed before 14:40 (MT)

Re: JG 54: The Fighting Over the Soviet Leningrad and Volkhov Fronts
Dear Nokose,
Thank you very much for th article. Wow! There is something about Friedrich Rupp! Leutnant Friedrich Rupp of 7./JG 54 claimed a RZ (11) at 06:12 at Nowosswlitschi (Novoselitsy). What does RZ stand for? Finally, Leutnant Friedrich Rupp of 7./JG 54 claimed a Yak-1 (18) at 05:40 in the area of Malaya Vishera. And even something about Sigi :-) : Oberleutnant Siegfried Graf Matuschka of 2./JG 54 claimed an I-180 (14) at 15:28 with no location. You use MT: From 06:25 – 06:50 (MT) Do you mean Mountain Time? (That's what I've found.) Or maybe Moscow Time? Thank you very much in advance. All in all, you've made my day. Thank you! Best Regards, Teresa |

Re: JG 54: The Fighting Over the Soviet Leningrad and Volkhov Fronts
Hello Teresa,
to the claim of Lt Rupp of 7./JG 54 on 22 March 1942: in the RLM type-books "Kriegsflugzeuge" - last edition winter 1944/1945 - the R-5 was designated as R-Zet (= RZ). Regards Leo |
