The first time I saw it was in 1977's "Monogram Close Up 7, Bf 109 G part 2". I was much more interested in the Ju 87 which appears in the full picture and was able to trace its history.

Bonn is app. 350 miles apart from Donaueschingen and it wonders me if they flew that far. This also because the 3./NAGr 13 was much closer to Bonn at that time. I never saw the Gen. QM. for Feb. 13th 45.
Thanks a lot in advance
Rolf
Its in the QMG report for 16.2.45, page 2, item 3 (screenshot attached).

I have also attached a better scan of the Bf 109, made from a print I bought many years ago from the Imperial War Museum.

Hi Nick,

thanks a lot for posting the GQM which includes the loss of the 2./NAGr 13. Seems the plane took off from Donaueschingen and was shot down.
This one is completely new to me.
Are you happy to send me the pic with the plane wreckage in a higher resolution?
Thanks a gain and best regards
Rolf

What I posted was a 300 dpi scan from the physical print that I have, which is as good as it gets in practice. Bf 109 W.Nr. 202113 is a small part of a wider shot showing many more wrecks, so scanning in 600 dpi would just bring out the surface texture of the paper, it wouldn’t show your aircraft any better. I doubt that a download from Fold3.com would be any improvement but you could try.

The loss report doesn't say it was shot down, only that it experienced engine trouble.
