Re: Info on loss of Lancaster PB-195 - 49 Squadron

Hiya all,

Does anyone have any information on the loss of Lancaster PB195, it was a 49 squadron aircraft that was lost on operation on the night of 04 July 1994, over Croeil, France.

Departed RAF Fiskerton on a night operation to St Leu D’Esserent. The aircraft crashed on the outbound route between Gourchelles and Romescamps. It was the crews 17th operation.

Also how and who they were shot down by, if a Luftwaffe claim?

Thanks for your time.

Cheers

Danny
