Legion Condor Bf 109 E-3s

Very few Bf 109 E-3s flew in Spain but does anyone have an idea of the possible Wk Nr range?

Re: Legion Condor Bf 109 E-3s

Not so few actually - amongst 41 Emils sent to Spain, there are only 7 confirmed E-1s (6•118, 6•119, 6•120, 6•121, 6•122, 6•123 and 6•124) and 5 aircraft that I'm unsure about the exact variant (6•103, 6•113, 6•114, 6•129 and 6•131). As for the serial numbers, I'm only aware of one: WNr. 715 of Bf 109 E-3 coded 6•92. 6•99 is also from the 7xx range, but the exact number is impossible to read from the the photo.

Re: Legion Condor Bf 109 E-3s

Hello,
The 6-106 preserved in the Deutches Musem was WNr.790.
Was restored in Spain in the 60's using parts from 660, 761, 803 and 826.
Maciej, could you post photo of the 6-122? all I saw were too poor to determine variant
Thanks

Hi Fran,

The variant of 6-122 is clearly visible in this film:
