Re: USNA Annapolis class of 1923
I grew up surrounded by these names and even met a few of them in my long ago youth.
Could be wrong, but I've been having a buzz in the back of my head about Murr Arnold being George Duncan's cousin. Wish my father were still alive, he knew, and served, with them both of them; he'd know. Rich |

Re: USNA Annapolis class of 1923
If it's Murr E. Arnold then Arnold flew with John S. "Jimmy" Thach in VF-1B.
Is this a link with the second son, John or Jack S. Duncan in the Census of 1930 and 1940? regards, Keith |

Re: USNA Annapolis class of 1923
Sorry, my last was a red herring. How could Jack S. Duncan be linked with Arnold's service with Thach if Arnold and Thach only met in the late twenties. Too much red wine with lunch!
