Information concerning the loss of Uffz. Leopold Bierwipfel - killed 29.11.43
Hi,
Please could someone help me find the loss details for Uffz. Leopold Bierwipfel who was a bordfunker in a Stuka squadron. He flew over 151 battle flights but was captured by the Russians and died in Shlobin on the 29th November 1943. He was not only an experienced flier but also held the EK I and the Golden Flight Battle Badge in Gold. Any help would be appreciated. I know this may prove difficult. Many thanks Rick |
