NAS Patuxent River ME262 "121443"
Hello all, Is there anybody who has identified the captured ME-262 A1a-U3 which was first noted in US marked FE-108 and USN serial 121443?
This is still a gap in my huge and detailed ME-262 database. Sadly the aircraft was destroyed on November 7th, 1945 during a testflight. Still trying to find out the name of the test pilot. Likely scrapped afterwards. History: Captured by US troops, Watson's Whizzers 222, "Marge", later "Lady Jess IV". Flown by Capt Kenneth Dahlstrom. Artwork was painted on the nose with Donald Duck. Shipped to USA by HSM Reaper. Tested at Patuxent River NAS. Thanks for any extra information on this interesting bird. Harry |

Gents,
The best guess is that it is from the upper end of the 500xxx Werknummer series. Here is hoping that a clear photo of its tail is discovered that will provide this missing information. Best, David
