Re: Gerhard Hoffmann
...from Johannes I learned that #1-126 and #130 were with JG52 and thus Bf109 kills. #128-129 were with 4./EJG1 and might have been scored in the Bf109, too. #127 is still a mystery.
Have a nice evening, Michael |

Re: Gerhard Hoffmann
According to Barbas, Hoffmann scored #127 - 130 with 11./JG 52. The dates for 127 - 129 are uncertain, but by 10-Apr-45 when he claimed #130, a P-39.

Re: Gerhard Hoffmann
Hi,
According to the Luftflotte 6 KTB, Hoffmann's victories 128 and 129 were with (Erg.)/J.G. 1 on 7 March 1945. 130 was on 10 April 1945 with III./J.G. 52. Cheers, Andrew A. Air War Publications - www.airwarpublications.com/earticles |

Re: Gerhard Hoffmann
Hello,
there is a B-17 kill of a Fw. Hoffmann of Jagdgruppe West listed for 31Dec43. May it be that this guy and 130-Experte Gerhard Hoffmann are one and the same person? On the one hand the rank fits and there is a scoring gap of more than four months is Hoffmann's JG52 tally. On the other hand he is reported to have joined JGr West not until May44. But he may have served two tours there (?) Have a nice weekend, Michael |

Re: Gerhard Hoffmann
...I asked Russ Fahey and he deems it likely that it was 4./EJG1.
