Re: Correct designation of Lichtenstein radar
FuG is a simplification of the german usage with either spaces (Fu G 218) or full stops (Fu.G. 218) inbetween type and number

Re: Correct designation of Lichtenstein radar
Hello
According to Fritz Trenkle, Lichtenstein SN 2 Streuwelle 1 (64 MHz) and 7 (116 MHz) equipments were produced, and at least tested. But he does not state if they were operationnaly used. For Streuwelle 1, the antennas had to be modified (too short elsewhere). They are not mentioned in the 125/1945 Felkin report (available at cdvandt.org) Regards Jean Schreiber |

Re: Correct designation of Lichtenstein radar
I know it's been a long time Junkers, but it looks like the document you shared in your post above is no longer there. Could you repost it please?
Thanks! |

Some of the relevant Bundesarchiv documents are now online and you can find a list of systems as at 1 January 1945 on File RL 2-V/172. (If you need instructions for how Bundesarchiv online system works, go to the 12 O'Clock High search facility. Entering "Invenio" will take you to what you need.) |
