Me 410 claims on daylight intercepts
V./KG 2 lost a Me 410 near Rheydt on 5 Nov 43 and another two on 11 Jan 44 at Hesepe/Osnabrück and Fürstenau; anyone have any ideas who might have claimed them?

Re: Me 410 claims on daylight intercepts
Pilots from all three squadrons in the 354th claimed twin-engined aircraft. They were awarded six Me 110's, one Me 210 and one Me 410 destroyed, three 110's and one 210 as probables, and eight 110's, one 410 and three Ju 88's as damaged. Except for one 410 damaged in the Brunswick area, the rest were all claimed in the general Halberstadt-Oschersleben area. If any of these may possibly fit your question and you want the names of those involved, let me know.

Kent: Which date are we talking about as locations appear to be nowhere near the losses

Re: Me 410 claims on daylight intercepts
The 354th claims were on January 11, 1944. The group was not yet active in November 1943.

Re: Me 410 claims on daylight intercepts
Thanks Kent but your claims are much further east than the stated German loss locations
