A Wellington attacked by RAF Fighters Sept 1940

Hi,

On September 5th 1940, six Vickers Wellingtons of No.311 (Czech) Squadron carried out a long range cross country flight culminating in bombing practice at Towyn Bombing Range on the coast of Cardigan Bay, Wales. While over the Bay, a Wellington was engaged by flak then attacked by a fighter. Bit of a long shot, trying to ID the fighter squadron.

TIA

Steve
