Adriatic Guard - The Story of the Naval Aviation of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes
Hi all,
Not exactly a WWII book (even if most of the aviators mentioned took part in it), but I hope it's OK to be mentioned here: "Adriatic Guard: The Story of the Naval Aviation of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes 1918 - 1929" You can find more details about it at https://wingsofserbia.com/category/adriatic-guard/ Some sample pages can be downloaded at https://wingsofserbia.com/wp-content...mple-Pages.pdf If there are any questions, feel free to ask! Re: Adriatic Guard - The Story of the Naval Aviation of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes
This is an excellent book
As everything else which so far has come from Boris pen it gives the full story. It is also quite an amazing tale about the hardship the young Yugoslavian state had to go through during those turbulent years. All seen through the eyes of their Navy and the naval aviators. The number of completely new, never seen before, photos are simply incredible. I learned a lot of new historical facts from it and certainly look forward to read the next volume and everything else Boris has in the pipeline. Thanks for writing the book Boris (and Mario Raguz) and good luck with your future projects!! Cheers Stig |
