Hawker Hurricane with a four bladed prop?
This link from Flickr below shows a photo of a Wellington, presumably brand new but in the background appears to be a Hurricane with a four bladed prop?

Larry This is one of the 3 Hurricanes allocated for performance trials of the Mk.IV/V variants, the up-rated Merlin needing a 4-blade. They were KZ193, NL255 and KX405 (1943). The early wing insignia and Sky spinner may mean an early modification.
They were converted back to standard Mk. IVs. Regards Nick |
