Information concerning the loss of Uffz. Engelbert Kuchenreuter - killed 16.04.44

Hi,

Bought another sterbild today of a flier with only limited information.

He was Uffz. Engelbert Kuchenreuter who was killed at the age of 24 in a flying death on the 16th April 1944.

He was a bombenschutze and beobacter.

He 177 A-3s built by Heinkel (HWD) Orainienburg - W.Nr. 2351 to 2410 (60 a/c.) Many of these aircraft had the number '33' added as a prefix to the werknummer.

W.Nr.: 2407.
Call sign -.
Operational unit: 10.(Erg)/KG 100.
Code: -.
Notes: Crashed at Veddelbusch and 100% destroyed on 16 April 1944, collision on the ground, pilot Uffz Edwin Wohfeil and 5 crew killed.
