Here is another newspaper clip with more info on him. Flew in a B-24 group in CBI and a B-26 group in Europe.

He was apparently in the 322nd Bomb Group, "Annihilators" .

He bailed out from crashing B-26B 42-95941 on 28/11/1944.

Just to fill-in Moran's service in the CBI, I found this clipping:

The B-24 mentioned that he flew on, "The Pelican", was in the 425th BS, 308th BG.
