Alain,
Some indications here: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/1437...objectPage=791 and https://catalog.archives.gov/id/1334...objectPage=831 Newspaper mentions his transfer from the CBI to the ETO as radioman-gunner here: https://www.newspapers.com/article/s...t-di/26039396/ John T. Moran from St. Louis, Missouri. Groet, Leendert |

Re: T/Sgt Moran J T 17034915
Here is another newspaper clip with more info on him. Flew in a B-24 group in CBI and a B-26 group in Europe.
https://www.newspapers.com/article/s...tch/135057660/ He was apparently in the 322nd Bomb Group, "Annihilators" . Last edited by RSwank; 12th November 2023 at 15:43. |

Re: T/Sgt Moran J T 17034915
Just to fill-in Moran's service in the CBI, I found this clipping:
https://www.newspapers.com/article/s...rat/135164164/ The B-24 mentioned that he flew on, "The Pelican", was in the 425th BS, 308th BG. https://www.fold3.com/image/55658395...r-force-photos |
