Hi ,

Who can help me with something on 2nd Lt Frost KL 0-80783(1) or 7 445BG/701BS. He made an emergency landing in Belgium on October 10 1944 wih B-24 " 453"

445th BG had no mission on 10 Oct 1944?

Keith L Frost did have a crash landing (in England) on 10 November 1944.

Note: Rudh does say he was flying with a "new" crew, but it is not totally clear if he means a "new" crew (to him as his regular crew was lost) or a new crew in the squadron.

I mentioned a crashlanding , but in fact it was an emergency landing , due to flakdamage.

B-24 "453" likely to have been B-24J 42-50453 which was with 445BG/701BS. This a/c had a mid-air with another B-24 over E. France two months later (11 Dec 44) and crashed (9 KIA, MACR 11337).
