George Everett Day
George Everett Day went to Heaven in 2013. He was posthumously promoted to the rank of Brigadier General on June 8,2018! Day was a Medal of Honor winner.

George Everett Day was one of the most decorated USAF pilots of the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Medal of Honor, the Air Force Cross, the Silver Star, the Distinguished Service Medal of the US Air Force, the Legion of Merit, the Distinguished Flying Cross, two Bronze Stars,and others.
