Since this aircraft clearly has pusher propellers (the WD.14 had tractor ones)
I would say it is a WD.11

Cheers

Re: Photos German Naval Aircraft

Hi Stig,

Thanks. It certainly is a WD.11.I should have checked rather than gone on memory as I'd remembered things in reverse. Worse even than this if I'd checked the Aeronaut volume on Gotha,I wouldn't have posted at all, since the photo is included there. This rather makes me wonder about the FF 33e too.

Regards,

Clint

Re: Photos German Naval Aircraft

Hello,

Currently on ebay are a series of photos of German Naval aircraft. They are captioned as original,so hopefully this is the case, but one or two do seem a bit familiar...

Land Based Albatros D Types

https://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_dkr=...nkw=albatros44

But I rather wonder if D.V 1103/17 is not still based with Jasta 26 given the 26 (coincidence perhaps) on the tailplane. Can anyone assist? A less clear photo of this aircraft is included on P.36 of Jon Guttman's Naval Aces of World War 1 Part 2 where it is stated to believed to have been Osterkamp's machine. In any event do other MFJ I aircraft have the roman numerals above the serial number?

Also my attempt to subsume all the naval Albatros unfer a single link has resulted in the selection of a few aircraft not belonging to this thread.
