Emblem of 1./KG 1 1940
2./KG 1's emblem was reported as being a blue circle with a white vertical curve-sided diamond and red spot inside of it. 3./KG 1's emblem was an eagle pecking a lion. 1./KG 1's emblem is not known unless anyone can tell me otherwise?

Re: Emblem of 1./KG 1 1940
Thanks Peter-I would be interested to know more. Out of interest I have just come across a small bag full of KG 1 shields showing 1 Staffel to be a seated griffon holding a bomb, 2 Staffel a wolf with a diagonal strip behind and 3 Staffel a seated elephant holding a bomb. I feel that the difficulty is that in 1940, I./KG 1 was still using I./KG 152 heraldry?

I know these Chris, but these are not 1940.

I have had the flower confirmed for 1 Staffel but what about 2 Staffel?
