is anyone able to help with following questions? I would like to know the exact date of his USAAF joining and also when he left the USAAF(USAF).

According to Frank Olynyk, Dalglish transferred to the USAAF on November 14, 1943 when he joined the 355th Fighter Squadron, 354th Fighter Group. He earlier served in the RCAF and flew 16 missions with 613 Squadron. He does not give a date of leaving the service.
