Re: New website for RAF Aircraft Losses September 1939 to August 1940.
The entries for April and 1-9 May 1940 have been uploaded and I have begun work on the 10-31 May 1940 period.
At the prompting of Jagan from 'RAF Commands' I have had a basic 'Search' function installed on the home page. Regards, Martin. |

Re: New website for RAF Aircraft Losses September 1939 to August 1940.
The full month of May 1940 has now been uploaded, by far the largest month for entries.

Re: New website for RAF Aircraft Losses September 1939 to August 1940.
I have finished uploading all of July 1940. That ends the outstanding uploads of the completed months. As mentioned on the website ‘Introduction’ page only August 1940 is left. However, this requires some months of further work. I will probably upload these days as I complete each one, or maybe several at a time. So, just keep an eye on the ‘Update’ page.
I will add corrections and additional information as supplied by colleagues on an irregular, but ongoing, basis. Regards, Martin. https://martinaviationpages.com/ |

Re: New website for RAF Aircraft Losses September 1939 to August 1940.
I have uploaded 1-4 August 1940 onto my website, day and corresponding night periods. The next two uploads, hopefully, will be 5-7 and 8-10 August, including the night periods. After that it will be one day at a time, plus the relevant night period, until 31 August 1940 which will bring the project to a conclusion. Following this there will be irregular updates.
At the suggestion of several colleagues, I have included the Service Numbers, where known, for the personnel and will try to continue this for the rest of August 1940. Regards, Martin. martinaviationpages.com |
