With the ups and downs of TOCH (which seems stable for the last 24 hrs-fingers crossed) this might have been missed? I know there are some who can solve this

You may most likely trace his career (promotions etc.) in the Canada Gazette. It looks as though he's mentioned four times in the war years: https://recherche-collection-search....arch?q=J13111& Files probably need a download to retrieve his name and/or J13111 easier, unless you're happy to scroll thru hundreds of pages....
