Photos 157th Aero Squadron

Hello,

Currently on ebay are a large number of photos from pilot Sgt Alexander Wilson, of the 157th Aero Squadron also including non aircraft subjects. Representative of many is a photo of Salmson 2 A2 No.3372 of the 99th Aero Squadron

https://www.ebay.com/itm/176550289161

The seller has many more photos, both of american and Entente aircraft as well as one or two captured aircraft

Regards,

Clint

Hi Clint

Sorry, but I don't follow you here.
Can you please point me to the large amount of photos from Alex Wilson?

I find of course the Salmson but your next link only shows two photos, one non-aviation related
and the other to an Avro 504A

In spite of the seller's statement there is no indication this Avro was handed over to the Americans.

Serial number begins with B433 and although some of the B4330 - 4339 has no known use
aircraft is not listed by Casari either.

Cheers
Stig

Re: Photos 157th Aero Squadron

Hi Stig,

Well I'm really a bit confused. I just clicked on the link and there are many photos of Entente aircraft. Possibly the number is somewhat smaller (sales perhaps?) but there definitely lots still there. I just clicked on the link. The information states 237 results, many of which are aircraft (?)

Regards,

Clink

How odd indeed Clint

When I click on the link I get two results "for 157th" and that's it

Do you see anything I might be interested in and just link that (those) photo (s)?

Cheers
Stig
PS: I am off on a talk of birds in Antarctica and will not be home until 22.00H or so
